カルシェナ

Carshena was one of the seven princes of Persia and Media who had personal access to King Ahasuerus and were the most senior advisors in his court (Esther 1:14). When the king sought legal counsel after Queen Vashti's refusal to appear, Carshena was among those consulted. These seven princes constituted the inner council of the Persian Empire, and their advice to depose Vashti initiated the events that would bring Esther to the throne.
