ハロウル

Old Testament

Harhur was an ancestor of temple servants who returned from Babylonian exile.

Harhur was the ancestor of a family of Nethinim who returned from Babylonian exile under Zerubbabel, listed in Ezra 2:51 and Nehemiah 7:53. The Nethinim families, as dedicated temple servants, played an essential role in maintaining the practical operations of the rebuilt sanctuary. Harhur's family was among the many servant clans whose return to the land made possible the restoration of regular temple worship after the desolation of the Babylonian period.
