ヤアスウ

Jaasu was a descendant of Bani who had married a foreign woman during the restoration period and was listed among those who agreed to dissolve these marriages under Ezra's call for covenant faithfulness (Ezra 10:37). The lengthy register of those who had intermarried reflects the widespread nature of the problem Ezra addressed, and Jaasu's compliance with the reform placed him among those who publicly reaffirmed the community's boundaries.
