Pelaliah, a priest who lived in Jerusalem during Nehemiah's time.
Pelaliah was a priest who lived in Jerusalem during the time of Nehemiah, listed in the genealogy of priests resident in the city: a son of Amzi and father of Jeroham, who is described as an overseer of the priests in Jerusalem (Nehemiah 11:12). His family line connected through Jeroham to Adaiah, one of the named priestly residents of post-exilic Jerusalem. Pelaliah appears only in this single genealogical reference.
