Meshobab, a Simeonite leader during the reign of King Hezekiah.

Meshobab was a Simeonite leader during the reign of King Hezekiah who participated in the expansion of Simeonite territory into the valley of Gedor (1 Chronicles 4:34). He is listed among the chiefs of Simeonite families whose clans grew too numerous for their allotted land and who drove out the Hamites and Meunites who lived there. Beyond this genealogical and territorial reference, nothing further is recorded about his life.
