나하마니

Exile > · H5167
Old Testament

Nahamani was among those who returned to Jerusalem from Babylonian captivity with Zerubbabel.

Nahamani was one of the leaders who headed the group of returning exiles who came back to Judah from Babylon under Zerubbabel following Cyrus's decree (Nehemiah 7:7). He is listed alongside Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Mordecai, and other prominent returnees, though his name does not appear in the parallel list of Ezra 2:2, suggesting a possible variant or scribal difference between the two registers. Nothing further is recorded about his role in the restoration community.
