Olympas was a believer in Rome to whom Paul sent greetings.
Olympas was a Christian in Rome who received a personal greeting from Paul at the end of his letter to the Romans (Romans 16:15). He is grouped with Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister—apparently members of the same household church. His name, derived from Mount Olympus, was common in the Roman world and indicates he was likely a Roman or Hellenistic believer. He appears only in this single greeting.
