Zeri (or Izri), a son of Jeduthun, was a temple musician during the reign of David.
Zeri (also called Izri in the parallel reference) was a son of Jeduthun and was assigned by lot to lead the third division of the temple musicians during the organizational arrangements of David's reign (1 Chronicles 25:3, 11). Jeduthun's six sons are listed as musicians who 'prophesied with lyres in giving thanks and praising the LORD.' Zeri and his brothers served in weekly rotating divisions of twelve to provide continuous musical worship at the temple.
