Psalms 28

Overview

A lament attributed to David calling on God not to be deaf to his prayer, which would result in his being like those who go down to the pit. He distinguishes himself from the wicked who speak peace while plotting evil. The psalm ends with thanksgiving as God has become his strength and shield.
