Bithiah

Bithiah ('daughter of Yahweh') was an Egyptian woman, a daughter of Pharaoh, who married Mered from the tribe of Judah (1 Chronicles 4:18). Her name is remarkable because it contains the divine name Yahweh, suggesting either that she converted to the worship of Israel's God or that she was renamed by Israelite tradition to honor her connection to Yahweh's people. Her marriage into the tribe of Judah represents the integration of foreign women of distinction into Israel's genealogical heritage.
