Joses

Joses (a Greek form of Joseph) was one of the brothers of Jesus, mentioned alongside James, Simon, and Judas in both Matthew 13:55 and Mark 6:3. He is also identified as the brother of James the Less and the son of Mary in Mark 15:40, 47, where she is present at the crucifixion and burial. Like his brothers, he initially did not believe in Jesus (John 7:5), but the wider family tradition indicates that members of Jesus' family later became prominent in the early church.
