Jushab-hesed was one of the sons of Zerubbabel, a descendant of King Jehoiachin of Judah.
Jushab-hesed was a son of Zerubbabel, the post-exilic governor of Judah who led the first return from Babylon (1 Chronicles 3:20). He is listed among Zerubbabel's five sons in the genealogy of the Davidic line after the exile, alongside Meshullam, Hananiah, Hashubah, and Ohel. His name, meaning 'lovingkindness is returned,' reflects the hopeful theological outlook of the post-exilic community. No further biographical detail is preserved.
