Revelation 5:13
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Study Note
The cosmic doxology — every creature in heaven, earth, sea, and Hades joining in praise to the Lamb — represents the eschatological fulfilment of Psalm 148's summons to universal praise, now centred explicitly on the crucified and risen Christ. The fourfold ascription 'blessing, honour, glory, and power' mirrors the throne-room scene of Revelation 4:11 but now explicitly includes the Lamb alongside the Father, constituting one of Revelation's most direct affirmations of Christ's divine status. Philippians 2:10-11 ('every knee shall bow... every tongue confess') provides a parallel Pauline formulation, drawing on Isaiah 45:23. The inclusion of creatures 'under the earth' and 'in the sea' ensures that no corner of creation is excluded from this eschatological liturgy.

And to my ears came the voice of everything in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and of all things which are in them, saying, To him who is seated on the high seat, and to the Lamb, may blessing and honour and glory and power be given for ever and ever.
