Isaiah 47:8
Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
Context
This verse from Isaiah Chapter 47 connects to 10 cross-references. A taunt against Babylon personified as a proud queen: she will be humiliated, ground at the mill, lose her children in a moment. Her astrologers and sorcerers cannot save her — they are like stubble the fire consumes.
