Jonah 3:9
Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
Context
This verse from Jonah Chapter 3 connects to 8 cross-references. Jonah preaches to Nineveh: 'Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown.' Remarkably the entire city — from king to animals — repents in sackcloth. God sees their repentance and relents from the disaster he had said he would bring.
