Vophsi was the father of Nahbi, the man chosen to represent the tribe of Naphtali as a spy.
Vophsi was the father of Nahbi, the man appointed to represent the tribe of Naphtali among the twelve spies sent by Moses to scout the land of Canaan (Numbers 13:14). His son Nahbi was among the majority who brought back a discouraging report, contributing to the forty-year wilderness delay. Vophsi is known only through this paternal reference in the spy narrative and is not mentioned elsewhere in the biblical text.
