Baara was one of the wives of Shaharaim, a Benjamite, mentioned in the genealogical records of 1 Chronicles 8:8. The text notes that Shaharaim divorced Baara and another wife, Hushim, while in the country of Moab, after which he fathered children through a wife named Hodesh. Baara's inclusion in the genealogy, even as a divorced wife, reflects the Chronicler's careful preservation of ancestral family connections.
