Becher

Becher was a son of Benjamin, listed among the family members who entered Egypt with Jacob (Genesis 46:21). In Numbers 26:35, a Becher appears as a son of Ephraim rather than Benjamin, suggesting either textual variation or the existence of two men with the same name. His descendants formed one of the clans of the tribe of Benjamin, contributing to the ancestral structure of the tribe from which Israel's first king, Saul, would later arise.
