Bilhan, a Benjamite, was the son of Jediael and had seven sons who were heads of families.
Bilhan was a Benjamite, the son of Jediael, whose seven sons—Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar—were heads of fathers' houses, described as 'mighty warriors' (1 Chronicles 7:10–11). The seventeen thousand two hundred fighting men of Jediael and Bilhan's clans are noted as part of the military strength of the tribe of Benjamin. Bilhan's family illustrates the Chronicler's interest in the martial capacity of the tribes that formed Israel's defensive backbone.
