Dodo

Dodo the Bethlehemite was the father of Elhanan, listed among David's thirty mighty men (2 Samuel 23:24; 1 Chronicles 11:26). A different Dodo appears as the father of Eleazar, one of David's three greatest warriors (2 Samuel 23:9; 1 Chronicles 11:12). The name Dodo ('beloved') was evidently used in Israelite families of distinguished military lineage, and both men bearing this name are honored as fathers of Israel's most celebrated warriors.
