Ezrah

Ezrah was a man of the tribe of Judah whose sons—Jether, Mered, Epher, and Jalon—are listed in 1 Chronicles 4:17 in the clan register of Judah during the Divided Monarchy. One of Mered's wives is described as Pharaoh's daughter, suggesting that some branches of Ezrah's family maintained connections with Egypt. His genealogical entry preserves the memory of several Judahite subclans and the towns associated with them.
