Ibhar

Ibhar was one of the sons born to David after he became king in Jerusalem, listed among the princes of the royal household in 2 Samuel 5:15 and 1 Chronicles 14:5. His name means 'he chooses,' though no individual narrative is attached to him in Scripture. Like his brothers, Ibhar represents the large royal family David established in Jerusalem as his power and prosperity grew during the united monarchy.
