Old Testament

Imnah, a Levite, was appointed as an overseer of the freewill offerings during the religious reforms of King Hezekiah.

Imnah was a Levite appointed during the religious reforms of King Hezekiah as the father of Kore, the gatekeeper who oversaw the freewill offerings and the distribution of the holy contributions among the priests and Levites (2 Chronicles 31:14). Hezekiah's reform involved a major reorganization of temple personnel and finances, and Imnah's family played a key administrative role in that process. His son Kore managed the storerooms in which the tithes and offerings were kept.
