Meshullam, a son of Zerubbabel, mentioned in the genealogy of David's descendants.

Meshullam was a son of Zerubbabel, the governor who led the first wave of exiles back to Judah after the decree of Cyrus, and is listed in the royal genealogy of the house of David (1 Chronicles 3:19). He was thus a direct descendant of the Davidic line in the post-exilic period, representing the continuation of the royal lineage after the monarchy had ended. His sister Shelomith is also mentioned in the same passage, and together they testify to the survival of David's line through the trauma of exile.
