Cosam is listed as an ancestor of Jesus in Luke's genealogy.
Cosam was an ancestor of Jesus Christ listed in Luke's genealogy (Luke 3:28), placed in the post-exilic period between Addi and Elmadam in the line from David through Nathan rather than Solomon. Luke's genealogy differs from Matthew's in tracing the royal line through a different branch of David's descendants. Cosam's name, otherwise unattested in the Old Testament, was preserved in the genealogical traditions that Luke incorporated into his Gospel.
