Jada

Jada was a son of Onam and a grandson of Jerahmeel from the tribe of Judah, mentioned in the genealogy of 1 Chronicles 2:28. He was the brother of Shammai and the father of Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without sons (1 Chronicles 2:32), and the genealogical line continued through Jonathan. Jada's family represents one of the many branches of the extensive Jerahmeelite clan within the tribe of Judah, whose genealogy the Chronicler carefully preserves as part of the broader Judahite tribal record.
