Old Testament

Parmashta was one of Haman's ten sons killed by the Jews in Susa during the events of Purim.

Parmashta was the seventh of the ten sons of Haman the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews in the book of Esther. After Haman's downfall and execution, Parmashta and his nine brothers were killed by the Jews of Susa on the fourteenth of Adar as part of the Jews' authorized self-defense against those who sought to destroy them (Esther 9:9). The hanging of Haman's ten sons on the gallows was requested by Esther and executed by the king (Esther 9:13–14).
