Rephael was one of the gatekeepers of the temple during the reign of King David.

Rephael was a son of Shemaiah and a grandson of Obed-edom, listed among the gatekeepers assigned to the south gate and the storehouse in David's organization of the Levitical service (1 Chronicles 26:7). He was among the able and willing men selected for service at the temple in Jerusalem.
