Saph (or Sippai) was a Philistine giant who was killed by Sibbechai the Hushathite during a battle with the Philistines.
Saph was a Philistine giant, described as one of the descendants of Rapha, who was slain by Sibbecai the Hushathite in one of the battles between Israel and the Philistines at Gob during David's reign (2 Samuel 21:18; 1 Chronicles 20:4, where the name appears as Sippai). His defeat was one of several victories over Philistine giants recorded in the aftermath of David's campaigns.
