Shelomoth (or Shelomith), Levites of the family of Shimei, son of Gershon.
Shelomoth was a son of Izhar from the Kohathite branch of the Levites, listed in 1 Chronicles 24:22 as the head of his clan. The Izharites were among the Levitical families assigned various duties in the administration of sacred service under David's organization.
