Shoham was a Merarite Levite belonging to the family of Jaaziah during the organization of the Levitical service.
Shoham was a Merarite Levite, son of Jaaziah, listed among the Levites who drew lots for their assignments in the organization of temple service under David (1 Chronicles 24:27). He represents one of the lesser-known Levitical figures whose temple appointments are preserved in the Chronicler's detailed records.
