'O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches' — the great creation psalm reaches its doxological center with a sweeping affirmation of divine wisdom as the organizing principle of creation's complexity. The word 'manifold' (rabbu) and 'wisdom' (chokhmâh) connect this verse to both Proverbs 8:22–31 (Wisdom as the master craftsman beside God at creation) and John 1:1–3 (the Logos through whom all things were made). The 'riches' (kinyanim — acquisitions/possessions) frames creation as God's own property, undergirding the theological principle of Psalm 24:1 that 'the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof.'
