Seven Seals
The seven seals on the scroll in Revelation 5-8 that only the Lamb is worthy to open, releasing successive judgments upon the earth. The first four seals release the four horsemen (Revelation 6:1-8). The fifth seal reveals martyrs' souls crying for justice (6:9-11). The sixth seal brings cosmic upheaval (6:12-17). The seventh seal introduces the seven trumpets (8:1-5). The sealed scroll represents God's complete plan for history and judgment. Only Christ — the slain Lamb — has the authority to execute God's purposes. The progression from seals to trumpets to bowls reveals an intensifying pattern of judgment leading to Christ's final triumph.
