Allon

Allon was a son of Jedaiah and a descendant of Simeon, listed in the extended genealogy of the tribe in 1 Chronicles 4:37. He is mentioned in the context of a Simeonite expansion into the valley of Gedor during the reign of King Hezekiah, when Simeonite clans sought new pasture land and drove out the earlier inhabitants. This migration narrative illustrates the continued Simeonite presence in the southern regions of Judah during the late monarchy. Allon himself does not appear in any narrative episode and is known exclusively from this genealogical passage.
