Azariahu

Azariahu was one of the sons of King Jehoshaphat of Judah, mentioned in 2 Chronicles 21:2 among the royal princes. His brother Jehoram succeeded Jehoshaphat on the throne of Judah and, according to the Chronicler, put all his brothers to the sword (2 Chronicles 21:4). Azariahu's brief mention illustrates the dynastic violence that plagued the divided kingdoms and the tragic fate of royal siblings who posed a potential threat to the new king's rule.
