Elienai

Elienai was a Benjamite who lived during the period of the Divided Monarchy, recorded in the genealogical register of 1 Chronicles 8:20 as a son of Shimei. He belonged to a large family of Benjamite brothers that included Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi, Zillethai, Eliel, Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath. Though Scripture preserves no deeds or words attributed to him, his inclusion in the tribal register of Benjamin testifies to the careful transmission of genealogical memory within Israel.
