Iri

Iri was a son of Bela and a grandson of Benjamin, listed in the Benjamite genealogy of 1 Chronicles 7:7 among twelve brothers. The family of Bela is described as mighty warriors and heads of their fathers' houses, numbering 22,034 men available for military service (1 Chronicles 7:9). Iri's inclusion in this warrior genealogy places him within the martial tradition for which the tribe of Benjamin was noted throughout the biblical period.
