Laadah, a son of Shelah and descendant of Judah.
Laadah was a son of Shelah son of Judah, listed in the Judahite genealogy of 1 Chronicles 4:21. He is identified as the 'father'—that is, founder or chief—of Mareshah, a significant town in the Shephelah of Judah. His family is associated with the linen-worker guilds of Beth-ashbea, preserving a memory of craft specialization within the tribe of Judah.
