Shamma

Shamma was the third son of Jesse of Bethlehem and a brother of King David, listed in 1 Samuel 16:9 (as Shammah) as one of the three eldest sons who stood before Samuel during the anointing. He is also identified as the father of Jonadab and Jonathan in 2 Samuel 13:3 and 21:21, representing an important collateral branch of the Davidic family.
