Shuni was a son of Gad and the ancestor of the Shunite clan within the tribe of Gad.
Shuni was a son of Gad, son of Jacob and Zilpah, listed in the genealogy of Genesis 46:16 and Numbers 26:15 as one of the seven sons of Gad who went down to Egypt. He became the founder of the Shunite clan within the tribe of Gad.
