Pentecost

Originally the Jewish Feast of Weeks (Shavuot), celebrating the wheat harvest fifty days after Passover. In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples at Pentecost, empowering them to speak in tongues and marking the birth of the church.
