One of King Josiah's wives was the mother of his son Shallum.
One of King Josiah's wives, unnamed in the biblical text, is implied in the genealogy of 1 Chronicles 3:15 as the mother of his son Shallum (also known as Jehoahaz). Josiah had at least two named wives — Hamutal and Zebidah — who bore him other sons who became kings of Judah. This unnamed wife's identity and background are not recorded, and she is known only through her son Shallum's inclusion in the royal genealogy.
