Hagri was the father of Mibhar, one of David's mighty men from the tribe of Gad.
Hagri was the father of Mibhar, a warrior listed among David's thirty mighty men in 1 Chronicles 11:38. The parallel text in 2 Samuel 23:36 reads differently, suggesting a textual variant in the two lists. Hagri may indicate a connection to the Hagrites, a pastoral people east of Gilead whom the tribe of Reuben defeated during the time of Saul (1 Chronicles 5:10). His son's membership in David's elite corps reflects the broad geographic and ethnic base of David's military following.
