希勒该

Helkai was a priest who headed the family of Meraioth during the high priesthood of Joiakim in the post-exilic period, recorded in Nehemiah 12:15. He is part of the list of priestly family heads who served in the generation after the initial return from Babylon under Zerubbabel and Jeshua, representing the continuation of the priestly orders established before the exile. His service in the Second Temple community maintained the ancestral pattern of priestly families serving in their designated roles.
