Keren-happuch was the name of Job's third daughter, born to him after God restored his fortunes.
Keren-happuch was the youngest of Job's three daughters born after God restored Job's fortunes, and her sisters were Jemimah and Keziah (Job 42:14). Her name, meaning 'horn of eye-paint' or 'container of antimony,' evokes beauty and cosmetics and is one of the most vivid personal names in the Old Testament. Job granted his daughters an inheritance alongside their brothers, a remarkable provision that honored them equally with his sons. The names of Job's daughters—in contrast to his sons—are preserved as a final sign of abundant restoration.
