Magpiash was among those who sealed the covenant during the time of Nehemiah.
Magpiash was one of the leaders of the people of Israel who set his seal on the covenant during Nehemiah's great covenant renewal (Nehemiah 10:20). He is listed among the civic and priestly leaders who bound themselves to follow the law of God, separate from surrounding peoples, and observe the sabbath and temple obligations.
