Noadiah was a Levite entrusted with the oversight of the treasuries during the time of Ezra.
Noadiah son of Binnui was a Levite entrusted with the weighing and custody of the gold and silver vessels and temple furnishings that Ezra brought back from Babylon to Jerusalem (Ezra 8:33). He performed this accounting role alongside the priest Meremoth son of Uriah and two other witnesses, providing official documentation of the temple treasures. This Noadiah is distinct from the female prophet Noadiah who opposed Nehemiah's work on the wall (Nehemiah 6:14).
