Zereth, a son of Ashhur (or 'Ashur') and Helah, was a Judahite.
Zereth was a son of Ashhur (or 'Ashur') and his wife Helah, a descendant of the tribe of Judah, listed in the genealogy of 1 Chronicles 4:7. He is named alongside his brothers Haahashtari, Izhar, Ethnan, and Koz as part of the Judahite lineage in the Chelub-Ashhur branch of the tribe. Zereth appears only in this genealogical notice and is not connected to any narrative episode in the biblical text.
