主权与苦难

The theological tension between God's all-powerful goodness and the reality of human pain — perhaps the most profound question in Scripture. Job wrestled with it for 42 chapters. Habakkuk cried, 'How long, Lord, must I call for help?' (1:2). Psalm 73 nearly stumbled over the prosperity of the wicked. Yet Scripture maintains both truths: God is sovereign (Isaiah 45:7) and good (Psalm 100:5). Romans 8:28 promises God works all things for good. Joseph told his brothers, 'You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good' (Genesis 50:20). The cross is the supreme answer — God entering suffering himself to redeem it from within (2 Corinthians 1:3-7, Hebrews 2:18).
