بواي

Bavvai son of Henadad was the ruler of half the district of Keilah who repaired a section of Jerusalem's wall during Nehemiah's restoration project (Nehemiah 3:18). He worked alongside his brother Binnui and contributed to the communal effort that reconstructed the city's defenses in fifty-two days. His role as a district official who personally participated in the building work illustrates the broad cross-section of leaders and laypeople who united behind Nehemiah's vision for Jerusalem's restoration.
